BUG?? Purchasing Paint from Vendor

When I had the quest to purchase paint from the Paint Vendor, I went over and spoke with him and then purchased the Blue Can of Paint for $1.00 and it showed up in the store. The next day, I went back and purchased (I thought) another can of Blue Paint for another $1.00 but could not find my purchase anywhere. I searched around the vendor, in the store where the other paint can showed up, in the street in front of the store, etc. Never did find it. So, the next day, I thought, let me try this again. I just went back, purchased another $1.00 can of Blue Paint and same thing, I can not find it anywhere assuming it shows up in one of those (3) places. Just reporting this as a BUG or someone tell me where you find purchased paint? . . .OK, I figured it out, literally by accident. I assumed the paint would be delivered to me like everything else in a box or something but instead it shows up in your inventory screen and you have to tab over to that particular tab (paint) and select it.
